Breakage, water damage, internal defects, theft and robbery worldwide, for all electronic devices in the household (not just the smartphone). Claims are handled by Die Mobiliar Switzerland, one of the oldest insurers in Switzerland (since 1826).
Both plans cover the same devices, whether you live alone or with your family. The only difference is what you pay yourself per claim: a CHF 100 deductible costs CHF 164 a year, a CHF 200 deductible costs CHF 133. From the second claim onwards, the lower deductible pays off.
Cyber protection covers digital damages: stolen data, cyberbullying, phishing losses, online fraud. Including legal protection up to CHF 20'000 per case and psychological counselling. Worthwhile for anyone with a smartphone, social media or online banking.
